Terms of service

Written to be read. If any of it is unclear, ask before you buy rather than after.

Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and Hany Mahfouz, trading as ClickHelm. Payment is taken by Paddle, who act as the seller of record for the transaction and whose own terms cover the payment itself.

What a licence gives you

A licence lets you run ClickHelm on the number of websites your plan allows, for as long as the subscription is active, and to receive updates during that time. Staging and development copies of a licensed site do not count against your allowance.

One licence covers your own sites or your clients' sites. It is not transferable to another company, and it may not be resold or redistributed as part of another product.

Paying

Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown when you subscribed, monthly or annually as you chose, until cancelled. We will tell you before any price change affects you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Plans include a monthly visit allowance. Going over it does not switch anything off and nothing is charged automatically — we will tell you, and you can move up when it suits you.

If the subscription ends

Everyone you have already blocked stays blocked. Protection is never removed because of a billing problem, and this is deliberate: a lapsed payment must not open your site to people you deliberately shut out.

What does pause is blocking anyone new, along with rules, alerts, reports, heatmaps and the Google Ads screens. Your recorded data stays in your own database and is not deleted by us.

Reasonable use

Do not use ClickHelm to interfere with anyone else's systems, to collect data you have no right to collect, or in a way that breaks the advertising platforms' own rules. We may end a licence that is being used that way, and will say why.

What we do not promise

ClickHelm reduces the cost of fraudulent clicks. It cannot eliminate them, it cannot recover money already spent, and it cannot make Google refund a click. Anybody promising those things is selling you something else.

The software is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be sent to the email on your account before they take effect, and continuing to use ClickHelm after that means you accept them.
